Aditi Saigal, known by her stage name Dot, recently set the stage on fire with her opening act for none other than British musician Ed Sheeran. Dot, the fresh face in Zoya Akhtar’s Netflix series The Archies, had the incredible opportunity to get the crowd hyped up for the India leg of Ed Sheeran’s much-awaited ‘The Mathematics (+-=÷x) Tour’ on January 30 in Pune. Well now, the rising star shared glimpses from the unforgettable concert.
On her official Instagram handle, the singer-actor posted a string of pictures featuring Ed Sheeran. In the photo, the artists were seen flashing a bright smile. The Shape of You singer was seen in a t-shirt that had ‘Pune’ written to celebrate the city as a part of his – = / x (Mathematics) Tour.
In another standout moment from the evening, the singer shared a clip from her mesmerising opening performance, where she left the crowd delighted with her gig. Other pictures and videos showed Saigal enjoying the concert with friends and revelling in the electrifying atmosphere.
In her heartfelt caption, Saigal expressed gratitude, stating, “Got to meet Ed Sheeran today @teddysphotos. You were lovely, and I love your Pune T-shirt. Still shaking… eeeek! Thanks @zionmathew and @radrao.g for being a great band!!!”

Coming to the Shape Of You singer’s ‘The Mathematics Tour,’ Ed Sheeran, known for songs such as Perfect, Don’t Call Me Baby, Photograph, and Galway Girl is set to perform multiple concerts in six cities in India. Following his electrifying performance in Pune, the Grammy-winning artist is scheduled to perform in Hyderabad, Chennai, Bengaluru, Shillong, and Delhi-NCR.
It is worth noting that Sheeran previously captivated India’s music aficionados with his concert last year and back in 2017.
