Chum Darang, who became close friends with Karan Veer Mehra during their time in the Bigg Boss 18 house, has addressed the rumours surrounding their bond. Despite the speculations of a romantic relationship, the two have repeatedly clarified that they are just good friends. Fans, however, have affectionately dubbed them ‘ChumVeer.’
In a recent conversation with Instant Bollywood, Chum was asked if she was frustrated with all the questions about ‘ChumVeer’ after leaving the Bigg Boss 18 house. Karan Veer Mehra was declared the winner of the show, while Chum Darang was one of the finalists. Responding to the constant questions, Chum revealed that she wasn’t irritated at all.
“Aisa bilkul bhi nahi hai. If our friendship is looking so nice, people would want to know about us, right?” Chum shared. She even mentioned that after seeing fan-edited reels of the duo, she was tempted to jump into the comments and respond. “I went to the comments also on our (fan-edit) reels and I felt like going inside those videos and saying, ‘Wo life finish ho gaya, hum dono finish nahi ho sakte.’ Because itna ache se wo (fans) log bana rahe hai. I’m not irritated at all.”
The strong bond between Chum and Karan has been well-received by their fans, with many appreciating their chemistry and camaraderie. Despite the curiosity surrounding their relationship, both have maintained that they are nothing more than close friends.

The rumoured couple looked stunning, radiating charm as they smiled for the cameras. Their chemistry was evident as Karan kept Chum close while they posed, sparking further dating speculations.
Karan, who entered the house after winning Khatron Ke Khiladi 14, developed a close bond with Chum during the reality show.
