As Ibrahim prepares to make his acting debut, Sara couldn’t help but express her heartfelt wishes.

Ibrahim Ali Khan, son of Amrita Singh and Saif Ali Khan, is no stranger to Bollywood. Having worked behind the scenes on several films and frequently making appearances with friends and family at various events, he gained popularity even before his acting debut. Now, as the 23-year-old prepares to step into the world of acting, his sister, Sara Ali Khan, couldn’t hold back from sharing her heartfelt wishes for him.
Taking to her Instagram Stories, Sara Ali Khan reposted Karan Johar’s post in collaboration with Ibrahim Ali Khan to announce the debutant actor’s upcoming project. Atop the post, the doting sister wrote a caption and tagged her ‘Iggy Potter’ (a cute nickname given to Ibrahim by her). She penned, “@iakpataudi welcome to the movies,” followed by several emojis. Soon, Ibrahim reposted the same on his Instagram along with three emojis: a rocket, a red heart and a smiling face blowing a kiss.
Many others extended warm wishes towards Ibrahim. Amongst them, his aunt, Saba Ali Khan also reposted Karan Johan’s post alongside a note that read, “You’re going to be a star. Love u lots.”
Initially, Karan Johar posted photos of Ibrahim looking handsome as ever. From posing in a suited look to flaunting her bare body, the debutant actor surely has the charm to win the hearts of his millions of fans. He captioned the photos with a long note talking about his years-long association with Ibrahim’s parents and sibling. Talking about his genes, an excerpt in the filmmaker’s note read, “Young, suave, charming & effortless…VERY much like the first time I met Ibrahim.” He then cherished the strong friendship between him and Amirta and Saif that was passed down from their generation to their kids.
“Films are in their blood, their genes and their passion. We make way for a new wave of talent, one that I cannot wait for the world to see. So, stay tuned as @iakpataudi makes his way into your hearts and soon…onto the screens!” Karan concluded.
Apoorva Mehta, CEO and producer at Dharma Productions, also shared the same pictures on his Instagram handle. Alongside it, he wrote, “Welcoming @iakpataudi to the world of movies! Stay tuned to watch him take over your hearts and the screens…soon!”
Ibrahim has earlier worked as an assistant director for Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani (2023), Sarzameen and Tashan (2008). In his upcoming movie, Diler, the debutant will be paired opposite South Indian star Sreeleela.
