Archana Puran Singh suffers severe injuries on the set of Rajkummar Rao’s next.
Archana Puran Singh recently met with a tragic accident while shooting for a project in Virar, Mumbai. The actress was filming an early morning scene around 5:00 AM when she fell and sustained severe injuries. She was immediately rushed to Nanavati Max Super Speciality Hospital in Vile Parle, where she underwent surgery for a fractured wrist.
In her latest vlog, Archana detailed the incident and revealed how her family reacted. Her son Ayushmaan broke the news of the accident to his brother Aaryamann, who was devastated upon hearing about her injury. Fighting back tears, Aaryamann learned that his mother had also suffered bruises on her face. Parmeet Sethi, Archana’s husband, later disclosed that doctors inserted a wire around her wrist due to the fracture.
Archana took to Instagram to share a health update. She posted a video from the hospital, showcasing her injury and expressing gratitude despite the setback. “Jo hota hai acchhe ke liye hota hai… I’m trying to believe that. Staying as positive as usual,” she wrote.
In the same vlog, Archana reflected on the surgery, expressing disbelief over the extent of the injury and swelling around her lips caused by the fall. However, showing immense determination, the actress revealed her decision to resume shooting soon.
“I called Rajkummar Rao to apologise for leaving the shoot midway,” Archana said. “I’ll be returning tonight because the production will face a huge loss otherwise.”
Parmeet expressed concern about how she would manage the shoot with her injury, but Archana explained that she would wear full-sleeved outfits to conceal the fractured hand. The production team also assured her a reduced schedule, limiting the shoot to just three hours per day. Despite the accident, Archana’s commitment to work remains unwavering.
