Shahid Kapoor’s Deva to release on OTT
Shahid Kapoor and Pooja Hedge starrer Deva is all set for theatrical release on January 31, 2025. The film has been grabbing a lot of attention for a long time. However, after its theatrical run, Deva will make its way to a leading OTT platform. The film will stream on Netflix.
Pinkvilla has mentioned that according to the posters of the film Deva, its streaming partner is Netflix. However, the OTT release date has not been mentioned. The cast of the movie also includes Pavail Gulatie, Pravessh Rana, and Kubbra Sait. Directed by Rosshan Andrrews, the film is produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur and Umesh KR Bansal.
The trailer video opens with an empty function scene. In the background, we can hear Shahid speaking about a deadly mission. The next scene shows him in an angry cop avatar in which he is beating goons. He is making sure that no one is left and also called himself mafia. The action drama is surely going to be interesting and Shahid has impressed everyone with his look. The video perfectly blends a whirlwind of emotions, high-octane action sequences, and thrilling chases, making for a perfect theatrical spectacle. Directed by acclaimed Malayalam filmmaker Rosshan Andrrews, ‘Deva’ promises to showcase Pooja Hegde and Pavail Gulati in never-seen-before avatars.
Recently, Shahid also shared BTS clip. The clip, posted on Shahid’s Instagram account, depicts his hard work and dedication as he practices the energetic dance moves along with the background dancers and choreographers. ‘Mere favourite step ko tu kaat raha hai, iski jagah kaat. Iski jagah main karunga ye,” the Kabir Singh actor said in the video while talking to the other dancers.
