A 40-year-old man was found dead in his house at Chamundeshwari Nagar in Hubballi on Monday.
The deceased has been identified as Peter Gollapalli.
The police found a note by his side in which he has blamed his wife for his decision of taking the extreme step of ending his life.
According to police sources, the man’s family life was disturbed. His wife Pinki had sought divorce from him seeking an alimony of ₹29 lakh. The couple was reportedly living separately for the past eight months.
Ashok Nagar Police have registered a case. They have launched a search for the deceased’s wife who is absconding.
