Former Prime Minister H.D. Deve Gowda said he will give attention to strengthening the JD(S) party’s organisation in Hassan district in the coming days and hold a series of meetings with leaders soon.
Speaking to presspersons during his visit to Dodda Genigere village in Hassan taluk on Sunday, Mr. Gowda said that he would visit Hassan soon after the coming Lok Sabha session. He would stay in Hassan for some time and meet the leaders of the party.
“We will work out strategies to strengthen the party’s organisation after discussing with leaders in the district,” he said.
Mr. Gowda visited Dodda Geningere village to attend the 11th-day ceremony of Patel Shivaram, former MLC and senior leader of the JD(S) who died recently.
