Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan stepped out on Sunday morning, days after the former was discharged from Lilavati Hospital. Saif was repeatedly stabbed by an intruder at his house in Bandra, Mumbai, on January 16. He was discharged from the hospital on January 21, five days after the attack. Today, Saif and Kareena were spotted by the paparazzi as they headed out amid tight security. This marks their first appearance together since the attack on Saif Ali Khan.

They are flanked by police, as a security measure following the knife attack on Saif. Bebo is seen walking ahead, while Saif follows behind along with the security personnel. Kareena donned a casual grey sweatshirt, black track pants and a black baseball cap. Meanwhile, Saif rocked a navy-blue t-shirt with a pair of denims. He had dark sunglasses on. Saif was stabbed by an intruder at his Mumbai residence in the wee hours of January 16. It was reported that at around 2 AM, the actor heard noises when one of his female employees was attacked in Jeh’s room. This prompted Saif to intervene, which led to an altercation between the two and the attacker injured both Saif and the female employee. The Bollywood star was stabbed six times by the robber following which he was rushed to the hospital.
Saif Ali Khan had three injuries, two on the hand and one on the right side of the neck, and the major part was at the back, which was in the spine. Doctors removed the sharp object that was lodged in the spine and repaired the injury. Khan recovered well and was shifted from the intensive care unit (ICU) on January 17 to a special room.
While Saif Ali Khan was discharged from the hospital five days after the attack, the doctors reportedly advised him to rest for the next few days.
