It has been quite some time since Hollywood actor Timothée Chalamet has been dating billionaire businesswoman Kylie Jenner. Their romantic outings to public PDAs are avid proof of them being deep in love with each other while also showing support for each other through thick and thin. While Chalamet and Jenner never fail to dish out major couple goals, it seems like the actor’s sister, Pauline Chalamet does not approve of their relationship. The Sex Lives of College Girls star recently shared a message about billionaires on social media, leaving fans speculating whether it was targeted at Kylie Jenner.

Senior Democrat leader Bernie Sanders recently shared a cryptic post on the X, voicing his concerns about the political climate in the US, especially after Donald Trump’s return to power. “When the 3 wealthiest men in America sit behind Trump at his inauguration, everyone understands that the billionaire class now controls our government,” a part of his tweet read.

Many, including Chalamet’s sister Pauline, took quick notice of the post and reshared the same on her Instagram story with a sharp rant about billionaires. “Our system is so flawed that it allows billionaires to exist and accrue so much money and BARELY pay (and sometimes NOT PAY) ANY ANY ANY TAXES. This should not be possible. Billionaires do not need to exist. Bezos, Musk, and Zuckerberg SITTING IN FRONT OF the cabinet is NOT DEMOCRATIC. NOT. DEMOCRATIC,” her post read as quoted by The Sun.

The post was shared on Reddit (now deleted) with the caption, “Pauline Chalamet on billionaires; meanwhile, her brother is dating one.” Social media users instantly chimed in with divided reactions. While some wondered if her post was directed at his brother’s girlfriend, others argued that she could have her own opinion. A user wrote, “We underestimate people’s cognitive dissonance, because yeah, she’s criticising billionaires, but nothing implies she’s targeting Kylie as well,” while another added, “I mean, she’s not responsible for who her brother dates; it’s not like she can break up with Kylie.”

“If we’re all going to be judged by our relatives’ significant others or their political views, then not a single one of us is safe lol,” another comment read.

Despite the speculations, the pair were on friendly terms last October, sharing a warm hug at the Coperni afterparty. On the work front, Timothée Chalamet recently bagged the nomination for Best Actor at the upcoming Academy Awards for A Complete Unknown, leaving Jenner “screaming with excitement.”
