Divya Dutta, who has worked with superstar Amitabh Bachchan in several films, recently reunited with the actor at Javed Akhtar’s birthday bash. On Friday, she shared a picture with Big B on Instagram, accompanied by a sweet and thoughtful message. In the caption, Divya wrote, “I could never describe in words what he means to me..how ,watching him weave his magic on the big screen, gave me a connect with the world of movies, how, doing 4 films with him( shared screen space in baghban n last lear) , left me yearning for more..how generous he has always been.”
She added, “How will i ever forget his prompt response to launch my book on ma ( truly special), and how whenever i meet him, there s so much i want to say..par all i do is, feel that immense joy of just being with him. Just to say..thankyou @amitabhbachchan sir…for being who you are.. always wishing you lots of love n regards.”

For those who don’t know, Amitabh Bachchan and Divya Dutta played a father and daughter-in-law duo in the 2003 film Baghban.
In the Rituparno Ghosh’s 2007 film The Last Lear, Amitabh Bachchan was seen as the retired Shakespearean actor Harish Mishra and Divya Dutta played his caretaker, Ivy. Both actors give complex performances as the movie delved into the world of theater and cinema.
They also collaborated in Veer-Zaara, Delhi 6 and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.
Meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan will be seen in 84 alongside Nimrat Kaur. He was last seen in Kalki 2898 AD alongside Prabhas and Deepika Padukone.
