The popular TV serial Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gaye has been making headlines with reports of lead actor Arjit Taneja, who portrays Virat, exiting the show. Adding fuel to the speculation, the actor shared a cryptic post on X, hinting at his farewell from the beloved series. “And signing off as Virat Singh Ahuja. Thank you for the endless love and some hate at times. VSA will always be special,” he wrote, leaving fans shocked. However, it appears that a major twist in the storyline might be unfolding.

Talking to ETimes, the actor has now refuted the speculations of him leaving the show and has assured the viewers that he isn’t quitting. Instead, he made a big revelation that Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gaye is now heading towards a three-year lap and he will be seen playing a new character.

Speaking about the current trajectory in the show, Arjit said, “Virat falls from a cliff in the current plot, resulting in a three-year time leap. Following that, I’ll be introduced as a whole different character named Ranveer Arora, who is the polar opposite of Virat. The public will have to see how he relates with Virat and the Ahujas.”

He added, “Yes, after 15 amazing months as Virat, it’s time to say goodbye to the character. The show is very close to my heart, and I would never leave it, despite what people thought. My post just meant I was signing off as Virat Singh Ahuja, not from the show. Abhi picture baaki hai, and I hope we continue this journey for many more years.”

However, the actor’s clarification now comes as a big relief to his fans.

Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gaye debuted in November 2023, starring Arjit Taneja and Sriti Jha in the lead roles. Their on-screen chemistry as Virat and Amruta captured the hearts of audiences. The show took an intriguing turn in mid-2024 with the addition of Pratiksha Sonmukhe to the cast. She portrayed Virat’s ex-wife.
