Priyanka Chopra’s Mumbai Home Under Renovation For Brother’s Wedding: Report

Priyanka Chopra is getting her apartment renovated to prepare for the arrival of her brother Siddharth’s bride.

Priyanka Chopra is gearing up to welcome her future sister-in-law, Neelam Upadhyaya. Her brother, Siddharth Chopra, is about to embark on a new journey with his fiancee. The couple will tie the knot in Mumbai, India, although the exact date remains under wraps. According to a Times Now report, Priyanka’s residence in the Raj Classic building on Yari Road is undergoing significant renovations to prepare for the arrival of Neelam Upadhyaya.

Siddharth Chopra and Neelam Upadhyaya held their Hastakshar ritual and ring ceremony in August 2024, in Mumbai. Back then, Priyanka Chopra shared a post on Instagram and wrote, “And they did it. With the blessings of their parents, friends and families, on our dad’s birthday. Their हस्ताक्षर (Hastakshar) and ceremony (sic).” Reportedly, Siddharth and Neelam’s roka ceremony took place in Mumbai in April 2024.

Priyanka Chopra is currently in Hyderabad filming for SS Rajamouli’s upcoming project. Ahead of this new journey, she visited the Chilkur Balaji Temple to seek blessings. The actress shared glimpses from her visit on Instagram, one of which captured her engaging with a temple priest. Dressed in a graceful turquoise salwar suit, Priyanka covered her head with her dupatta as a gesture of respect.

The highly anticipated film SSMB29 produced by SS Rajamouli, has begun production. While the focus has been on the Mahesh Babu and Priyanka Chopra pairing for the first time, the film promises to bring together a diverse group of performers.

Apart from this film, Priyanka Chopra will also appear in Ilya Naishuller’s action comedy Heads of State, which also stars Idris Elba and John Cena. She also stars in Frank E Flowers’ action thriller The Bluff, opposite Karl Urban, which is produced by the Russo Brothers’ AGBO. Fans may also be looking forward to the second season of her spy drama Citadel, in which she will reprise her role opposite Richard Madden. The series, created by AGBO, will be available on Amazon Prime Video.
