Janhvi Kapoor has a special connection with Tirupati as she visits the temple on her birthday and her late mother, Sridevi’s, birth anniversary every year. She once told Komal Nahta on his show that she plans to settle there with her husband and three kids.
Jahnvi Kapoor said, “I have this plan of eventually getting married and settling down in Tirumala Tirupati with my husband and three kids. We’d eat on banana leaves every day and hear ‘Govinda Govinda’. I’ll have mogras in my hair and will listen to Mani Ratnam’s music. I’d do tel champi on my husband in his lungi.”
Karan Johar, who was also a part of the conversation, didn’t agree with Janhvi and asked, “What’s so romantic about a man in a lungi eating on banana leaves?” Janhvi laughed and replied, “It’s romantic.” Janhvi not only has an idea about how she wants to live after marriage but also has her wedding plans ready.
Talking to Peacock Magazine, she revealed that she wants a simple wedding with a bachelorette party in Capri in Southern Italy on a yacht. The actress wants the main wedding ceremony to be in Tirupati with her Mehendi and Sangeet ceremony at her mother late actress Sridevi’s ancestral home in Mylapore, Chennai. She also prefers a traditional but simple decor, that would be full of mogras and candles.
