South sensation Samantha Ruth Prabhu is dealing with several health complications lately. The actress, however, is keeping her fans updated regarding her journey to recovery. Despite the joint pain and muscle aches, Samantha ensured she stayed fit and sweated it out at the gym regularly, inspiring fans to put all excuses aside and include workouts in their daily routine. Well now, just weeks after getting recovered, the actress visited Chennai for some unknown reason. She dropped a picture on her social media, decked up in her true glam avatar.
In the picture, she donned a translucent white short kurta-style top with a matching bralette. Ditching heavy accessories, she adorned herself with some layered, sleek gold pendants. The sheer glow on her face with curly hair made her look stunning as usual.
Sharing the picture of her gorgeous avatar on Instagram, Samantha penned, “Chennai for a minute, feelings were felt!!” While many flocked to the comment box to shower appreciation for the actress, Keerthy Suresh mentioned, “Adaaa sollaveee illa!! [Needless to say!!]”
Samantha was recently diagnosed with Chikungunya. The actress has not let the disease dampen her spirit and let go of her resolutions, just two weeks into 2025. On January 16, Samantha shared a reel on her Instagram account, inspiring countless fans that she ain’t giving up on her goals instead she is “trying something different” this year.
In the reel, the Citadel actress was first seen cosily tucked inside her bed. Following this, she could be seen in a green athleisure outfit doing some exercises at a gym using equipment like dumbbells and kettlebells, among others.
Coming to Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s professional life, the actress was most recently seen in the Prime Video Series Citadel: Honey Bunny. Playing Honey alongside Varun Dhawan aka Bunny, the series received a positive response from the audiences. It premiered on the streaming platform on November 6 and is a prequel to the US adaptation, Citadel, starring Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden.
Moving on, Samantha has a number of potential projects lined up in her pipeline. The actress is all set to grace the screens with Raj & DK’s fantasy action series, Rakt Brahmand – The Bloody Kingdom. She will be seen sharing screen space with Aditya Roy Kapoor, Ali Fazal, Wamiqa Gabbi and Nikitin Dheer.
