In a significant boost to air connectivity in Northeast India, Alliance Air, under the Ministry of Civil Aviation, in partnership with the Manipur State Government, has introduced new flight routes linking Imphal with Guwahati, Kolkata, and Dimapur. The services are set to commence on January 15, 2025.
Announcing the development on X, the Ministry of Civil Aviation stated, “This development is expected to enhance travel, trade, and tourism in the Manipur region by improving access from across the country.”
The initiative is part of the broader vision to promote regional connectivity under the campaign “Dekho Bharat Ke Rang, Alliance Air Ke Sang.”
