Gangtok, Jan 13: Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang-Golay has extended his heartfelt congratulations to CP Sharma, Press Advisor to the Chief Minister and an esteemed litterateur, on being awarded the Kavi Bhakta Rai Smriti Puraskar 2024.
The prestigious award, presented by the Prasad Singh Subba Memorial Academy, Assam, in collaboration with the Kavi Bhakta Rai Smriti Mandap, Siliguri, was conferred during a ceremony at Viswanath College, Assam.
In his message, the Chief Minister commended Sharma’s exceptional contributions to literature and media, recognizing his widespread admiration across the region. He also praised the efforts of the organizing bodies for promoting excellence in the literary field and congratulated all the awardees honored at the event.
