Nearly 75,000 farmers have enrolled for the 11-digit Unique Farmer ID in the West Godavari district during the ongoing state-wide exercise Farmer Registry, which allocates a unique number to every farmer to claim the benefits from the Centre and the State governments. West Godavari District Collector Ch. Nagarani said that the exercise is in full swing across the district, where 1.5 lakh farmers own land.
