The Apollo Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (AIMSR), affiliated with Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, celebrated its graduation day here on Friday.
According to a press release, a total of 116 MBBS interns graduated, and 18 subject-toppers were honoured with medals for their outstanding academic achievements. Boya Vijaya Lakshmi emerged as the overall topper from the 2019 MBBS batch.
During the event, Prathap Reddy, chairman of the Apollo Group, congratulated the graduated students and said that service to humanity should always be a priority in the medical profession. Dr. Reddy highlighted the immense responsibility that comes with the medical profession, stressing its crucial role in safeguarding public health.
Senior faculties of the AIMSR, Poornima Baliga, Vinod Bhat, Siva Ramakrishnan, and chief operating officer Naresh Kumar Reddy presented mementos and medals to the graduates and academic achievers.
