SIVASAGAR, Dec 15: A record-breaking Dihanaam singing concert saw participation from 10,100 women at the Peoli Phukan Stadium in Sivasagar on Sunday, aiming for an entry into the National Book of Records. The event was graced by Dr Pitambar Devagoswami, satradhikar of Auniati Satra, ‘Dihanaam Samrat’ Kamala Gogoi, and Sivasagar MLA Akhil Gogoi. Organised by Jugalbandi Sanskritik Kalakendra, the massive gathering caused significant traffic congestion along AT Road in the town, as hundreds of buses and vans transported the participants to the venue.
